One room in a large Victorian house is available for rent as of February 25th. Located on a quiet, tree-lined street in the Porter Square area of Cambridge, the house is a five-minute walk from the Porter Square train station. Restaurants, gyms, a CVS pharmacy, a 24-hour Shaw?s Supermarket, a hardware store, and a bookstore are conveniently within walking distance. 
Inside the spacious house, there is a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Residents are quiet and very respectful of each other?s privacy while occasionally enjoying shared meals. It is the perfect living situation for post-graduates and faculty.  Currently, we have both short- and long-term renters. The long-term residents include a male nursing school student and a female nonprofit consultant.
We are searching for friendly, progressive, reliable, and professional individuals who would appreciate some of the benefits of shared living while also retaining their privacy. Social events may include a monthly house dinner or potluck and other special events.
Rent is $1,000 per month. Wireless internet is available, and a washer & dryer are in the basement. No smoking is allowed, and pets may be allowed on a case-to-case basis.
